Who are we?

Sagesses d’Afrique International is a non-profit cultural and humanitarian association based in Nice, created to bring together, heal and promote Africa and its diasporas.

We operate internationally, mobilising Africans, Caribbean people, African Americans, diasporas and allies around projects related to education, culture, spirituality, the environment, science, health, law and humanitarian issues.

Founded on memory, solidarity and dignity, we are working towards a collective renaissance driven by African knowledge and the creativity of Black peoples. Our work is based on unity, transmission, voluntary commitment and community co-construction.

Our five core missions

Healing our roots, passing on our wisdom, building what is essential, in the service of global Africa.

Restoring collective memory

Restoring memory, healing the wounds of history, reconnecting scattered roots.

Passing on living knowledge

Sharing our knowledge, traditions and values to enlighten future generations.

Promoting African cultures

Highlighting African cultures, talents and wisdom as pillars of tomorrow's world.

Protecting identities at risk

Preserving our identities, our peoples, our memories. In the face of oblivion or erasure, we stand guard, conscious and united.

reconciling legacies and peoples

Healing divisions, bringing together the children of Africa. We work for unity between generations, continents and minds.

Our vision

Sagesses d’Afrique International aims to be a global network for African renaissance. Centres of knowledge, culture and action on every continent. A united force for education, dignity and the future of Black people and people of African descent.
